Summary of the first meeting day
Partners reviewed project progress, including the positively evaluated Interim Report, completed training resources (Practicum, Glossary, Ask an Expert materials), and course development status (24 courses ready to pilot, with 90% targeted by end of December). The CATALYST Platform is live with ~160 Network members, and 8 specialisation programmes plus ~20 draft research projects (renamed “business pilot projects”) were presented.
On Tuesday, November 5, 2024, the meeting opened with a review of completed and ongoing activities, highlighting that the interim report was positively evaluated and the second installment of funding was transferred to partners. Key progress includes the availability of CATALYST training resources like the Practicum and Glossary, as well as an update on course development, with 24 courses ready for piloting and a target of 90% completion by the end of December. Partners were advised to comply with new accessibility laws requiring subtitles for all video content.
The second and third sessions focused on the strategic implementation of the “Enable” and “Inspire” components. The team defined success metrics, including targets for platform members, course enrollment, and SME engagement, and mapped out a launch schedule for monthly topics starting in January 2025. Discussions also clarified the structure of business pilot projects, emphasizing that participants in specialization programs must engage in these projects, with the first programs scheduled to launch in January 2025.Wednesday, 06.11.2024

The team reviewed progress on the second issue of the project magazine and discussed potential activities for CATALYST Network members, such as “Ask an Expert” live sessions, masterminds, and networking coffee chats.
Angelina emphasized the importance of national promotional events, which partners are tasked with organizing by January 2025. The group discussed the format and scope of these initiatives to ensure effective outreach, while also assigning responsibility for maintaining social media engagement and populating the table for upcoming member-only activities.Thursday, 07.11.2024

On Thursday, November 7, 2024, the final session involved reflecting on the Wuppertal meeting, with partners sharing feedback to improve the planning of future national promotional events.
