National dissemination event 3 – Austria

Opening remarks on the event

A national dissemination event to promote the project and its results, engage with learners in Austria, was organised by the BEST Institut für für berufsbezogene Weiterbildung und Personaltraining GmbH  at the Jugendcollege (Youth College) in Vienna, Austria. The event took place on December 18, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. 

This national dissemination event covered a presentation about the Catalyst Erasmus+ project, its goals, results, and the platform. Additionally, there was a discussion on sustainability and relevant subtopics for young people, as well as possibilities in the green industry and other green jobs, and skills’ improvement. It was implemented with a key note presentation, and in plenary discussion and workshop-style.

Event conclusion

The participants agreed that the event was highly informative and engaging. They found the interactive discussions and group work particularly valuable. The most relevant topics for the participants included topics related to the circular economy and sustainable business management. They expressed a keen interest in further exploring the online courses available on the Catalyst project platform and indicated their intention to visit the website later to delve deeper into the course content.
