The purpose of the TechStress Relief Activity is to equip SME owners and managers in the Austrian Tourism Industry with practical strategies to manage technostress effectively. Through realistic case studies, stressor identification, and self-guided brainstorming, participants gain insights into coping mechanisms and enhance their well-being while navigating the digital landscape.

  • Realistic scenarios/situations: participants engage with three authentic scenarios, which mirror real-world challenges faced by employees dealing with technostress
  • Stressor Identification: participants analyse stressors related to workload, time pressure, communication gaps, and creativity versus data-driven decisions.
  • Coping Strategies Brainstorm: Guided by questions, participants brainstorm coping mechanisms. They explore both problem-focused and emotion-focused approaches.
