CATALYST Conference Highlights
CATALYST Project extends an invitation and a warm welcome to its concluding international conference that aims to display the outcomes of the CATALYST Projects, bring together both professionals and enthusiasts alike, and inspire future endeavors.
The Conference takes place this on 23rd April, at the Civil Engineering Faculty in Skopje ( North Macedonia) with the perspective of being your springboard event for the year for both professionals and enthusiasts committed to sustainable future. There are no conference fees.
A special highlight of the conference will be the keynote address by Prof. Wayne Visser, a globally recognised expert in sustainability and transformative leadership. Prof. Visser is the founder of CSR International and Kaleidoscope Futures, former Head of Sustainability at the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership, and author of influential books on sustainable business and leadership. His work focuses on redefining leadership and business models to enable systemic change toward a sustainable future.

Panels Discussions and Poster Session
Two thematic panels will be held as part of the conference programme, bringing together experts from education and business to explore key pathways for sustainable transformation. The first panel, VET Excellence: Skills for Sustainable Transformation, will be a moderated discussion focusing on how Vocational Education and Training (VET) institutions foster innovation, develop future-ready skills, and promote excellence in support of the green transition. This will be followed by Panel 2 – Sustainable Business Transformation: From Strategy to Action, which will showcase insights, experiences, and best practices from companies that are leading the transition toward circular and sustainable business models.
The poster session will highlight best practices, research results, innovative initiatives, and real-world success stories that support the transition toward sustainable, circular, and resilient systems. The topics of Interest are: VET excellence, circular economy, sustainability and sustainable business models, business transformation and innovative VET practices supporting the green transition.
